How to install Netdata on Manjaro 16.10

Netdata is a real time system monitoring for Linux. It has many features you can use to monitor your Linux desktop or server including CPU, RAM usage, Network monitoring and many more. This tutorial is going to show you how to install Netdata on Manjaro. This guide is applicable to any version of Manjaro including Manjaro 16.08, Manjaro 16.10 as well.

Install Netdata on Manjaro

Open Terminal and type this command:
sudo pacman -S netdata
Output:
sudo pacman -S netdata[sudo] password for dhani: resolving dependencies...looking for conflicting packages...
Packages (2) libnetfilter_acct-1.0.3-1  netdata-1.4.0-2
Total Download Size:   1,65 MiBTotal Installed Size:  5,57 MiB
:: Proceed with installation? [Y/n]
Type Y and press Enter to continue. It will start downloading and installing Netdata package from the repository. For more information about Netdata on Manjaro or Arch Linux, please visit this page.
After the installation complete, you will see the following message on Terminal:
After the daemon has been started for the first time,download the default config file fromhttp://127.0.0.1:19999/netdata.conf
Copy it to /etc/netdata/ and modify it.

Don't worry this is normal. All you need to do is to start netdata. Use this command to start netdata service
sudo /usr/sbin/netdata
Output
[dhani@dhani-deepin ~]$ sudo /usr/sbin/netdata[sudo] password for dhani: 16-11-03 03:59:52: INFO: netdata: System has 2 processors.16-11-03 03:59:52: INFO: netdata: System supports 32768 pids.
Now open Firefox or any other web browser you have and type the Manjaro IP address in the following format:
http://localhost:19999
You can also open netdata from other computer in the same network by changing the localhost with the Manjaro IP address.
