How to install Team Viewer 11.0 on Manjaro 16.08

Team Viewer is a free and popular remote desktop application.With this program, we can control a computer remotely. Team Viewer is not an ordinary Remote Desktop software. It has many other features such as built in file transfer feature that make it easier to send or get files from a remote computer. No matter where you are, as long as you are connected to the internet, we can gain control to the computer. 

Team Viewer 11.0 Overview

The new version of Team Viewer 11.0 is now available with many improvements and add some critical features. Now its integrate Microsoft One Drive for Business cloud storage support to the file transfer box. Team Viewer is multi platform software that can be run on many Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux and also Android devices. 

Team Viewer 11.0 on Manjaro

Team Viewer supports Linux platform. Ubuntu, Debian users can download and install Team Viewer using the DEB package provided by the developer. But for Manjaro users, you can either download and use the "Other System" version to install. But, I highly recommend to install Team Viewer from Manjaro package manager. AUR repository provide the latest Team Viewer 11.0 for Manjaro users. 
To install Team Viewer 11.0 on Manjaro, first open Add/Remove Software
Type "teamviewer" on the search box and click AUR to see the list of any installable files. If you don't see AUR in your Add/Remove Software, you will need to enable AUR Repository first. Clik on the Setting button (three stripes on the top right) and then click Preference.

Ok, now you should see teamviewer package on the search result. Right click and select Install. Press Apply to start the installation. Manjaro will start download and building packages required by Team Viewer 11.0.
Once installation completed, we can start running Team Viewer. On the first run, you may got the following notification.
teamviewer daemon
We need to run the TeamViewer daemon. Open Terminal and use this command
teamviewer --daemon start
Now run Team Viewer again and it should be working now
teamviewer-manjaro
